A Brief Recap of the Events...

SUNDAY, 9/25/2022: The Board of Directors of both associations had their annual conference board meetings on Sunday Sep 25. At the conclusion of those meetings both boards got together and enjoyed a fantastic meal at the Cierra Steak House restaurant inside the Bally's hotel/casino.

MONDAY 9/26/2022: Monday brought amazing blue skies for our 36 golfers who participated in the tournament. It was a fantastic day on the links and everyone had a great time...though many wanted more string! Inside the MontBleu Hotel, exhibitors checked in throughout the day and began to set up their tabletops. The afternoon saw calm winds and following seas and those lucky enough to get a seat on the boat ride took sail on the for a 2 hour jaunt around Lake Tahoe. Great food, great company and and good time was had by all. The evening continued with a food and a magic show in nearby Heavenly village. The night concluded with a short nightcap at the BLU nightclub adjacent to the exposition hall inside the Bally's hotel/casino.

TUESDAY 9/27/2022: The day started early with exhibitors finalizing their preparations and meeting for breakfast. Bally's outdid itself during the entire conference with wonderful breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners. As the conference started, we heard Eric Votaw, the outgoing President of the CalCom and Cameron Francis, the current President of the NTA, give their welcome addresses. Trainings and breakout sessions began and the exhibit hall was open to all attendees. Tuesday evening greeted the attendees and exhibitors with an amazing prime rib buffet, chicken romano, baked halibut and much more. Once again the BLU nightclub was the after dinner scene.

WEDNESDAY 9/28/2022: The final day started with a huge, and we mean huge, breakfast spread in the main exposition hall. If you didn't get enough food for some odd reason during the previous 3 days, Wednesday was the day to feast. As breakfast wound down, exhibitors finalized meetings with new contacts and began to pack up. Management meetings took place during the mid-morning and as noon approached, all were packing up ready to head home after a very successful conference. We look to seeing you all next year!

The NTA Raffle and Silent Auction to Benefit our Scholarships

The NTA held its annual scholarship raffle at the conference to benefit its scholarship awards. Both Associations held silent auction to further benefit their scholarship awards. In Total, the NTA raised over $3,000 this year! These scholarships benefit high school seniors looking to go to a trade school, junior college, or four-year university. In May of every year, the NTA scholarship committee works tirelessly to put through all the applications and data to pick the most deserving students. The winners are very appreciative and we wish them all the very best.

Thank you for participating.

Lastly, from our Executive Director...

"It was great seeing all of you again for my 2nd year as Executive Director of the NTA. The golf tournament was a blast! It was also a pleasure to sit down and get to know you and learn a bit about your business as well as hear your suggestions and comments regarding the conference. I truly feel I've made some lifelong friends and learned a lot about what many of you want out of this conference.

I hope to continue to make this conference better and better each year given your suggestions, needs and desires. As I've said many times, without all of you, this conference doesn't happen. Thank you for your participation during a great week."
