In 1982, Falcon Communications (the sister company of Falcon IP/Complete) took possession of a specially designed trailer housing a digital switching system in Deadhorse, Alaska. On its way to Molden for final rigging and testing, W.F. (Buck) Provance, president at Falcon, called attention to the sign, "Deadhorse, Alaska, or Bust," placed on the rig when it left Northern Telecom's Research Triangle Park in North Carolina, manufacturers of the telephone components. Looking on are (from left) Herbert l. Hughes, vice-president. sales, Northern Telecom, Inc., Digital Switching Systems. and Wayne R. Lasson, vice-president and general manager of the company's DMS-10 Division. As part of our 50th anniversary, we need pictures of you and your business from the 1950s and later.
